Provincial Budget Survey
The Province is conducting a survey as part of its budget consultation. The survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete and is open until February 3rd. You will note there is NOTHING listed for protection of the natural environment or adaptation to climate change. To tell the Province you want to see funds budgeted for environmental protection or climate action, you can use the “OTHER” box provided in each survey question, to let the Province know your support for more action to protect the environment. For example, with questions 1 or 2 of the survey, you could check the OTHER box and then write in where it will say “Please specify”“Protection of the natural heritage systems from any proposed development,” or “Fund methods to promote adaptation to climate change.”The survey is found at https://www.ontario.ca/form/survey-2025-budget-consultations
